RussianLegal obtained a favorable result in the Arbitration Court of the Ural District

The Arbitration Court of the Urals District announced the operative part of the ruling, which upheld the decisions in favor of our trustees, the owners of the Four elements hotel business, who own a chain of hotels in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Perm and Kirov (cases No. A60-63350/2020 and No. A50-8406/2021).

Thus, the Court of Cassation Instance agreed with the arguments of the Law Office's Attorneys that the claims were based on fictitious loan, pledge and surety agreements. This allowed the client to retain the business and continue its development.

The Latvian bank filed claims to foreclose on hotel buildings and land plots in Yekaterinburg and Perm. The situation was complicated by the fact that during the first consideration of the case the cassation court overturned the judicial acts and sent the key dispute for a new consideration with negative conclusions. In addition, the project had specifics related to the need to apply Latvian law, which gave the opponents an advantage.

Despite all this, the dispute was resolved by RussianLegal in favor of our client.
