RussianLegal will strengthen the protection of entrepreneurs' rights in cooperation with the Ombudsperson for Business

Andrey Kozlov, Managing Partner of RussianLegal, and Polina Matveeva, Counsel of RussianLegal, signed cooperation agreements with the Moscow Ombudsperson for Business.

At the business breakfast, Andrey Kozlov, Managing Partner of RussianLegal and Tatiana Sizova, the Moscow Ombudsperson for Business. signed a cooperation agreement. The document was also signed by Polina Matveeva, Counsel of RussianLegal, who will take an active part in the working group.

The agreement provides for the pro bono expert contribution of RussianLegal to protect entrepreneurs' rights and interests. The team will focus on reform of criminal legislation, with special attention paid the issues of unwarranted criminal prosecution of entrepreneurs.

This is a natural step in our long-term work to support entrepreneurs and we are ready to propose solutions that will help improve the business climate in Russia.

The Working Group also includes representatives from the expert community, including leading agencies and legal institutions. RussianLegal plans to actively participate in the preparation of amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, using its experience in business protection.

Participation in this initiative is an opportunity to bring real change to legislation.
