As part of support for national wine producers, the concept of “Russian wine” was supposed to be enshrined at the legislative level, which was not supported by the State Legal Administration (SLA), as such a term would have contradicted the EEU technical regulations.
Andrey Kozlov believes that Russia is able to amend the EEU legislation, adapting it for the purposes of the bill, which will require certain time expenditures, and today the legislator only needs to finalize the draft law in accordance with the conclusion of the State Legal Department.
