Andrey Kozlov, the managing partner of RussianLegal, assessed the attempt to open the bankruptcy case of the oil and gas company in his interview to the "Kommersant" newspaper.
The liquidator of Petrarko PJSC applied to the Udmurtian Arbitrage to declare the company bankrupt but "TRUST" Bank proved the bankruptcy petition groundless as the property is sufficient to satisfy the creditors' claims.
Andrey Kozlov believes that based on the circumstances of the case the refusal of the court to declare the debtor bankrupt was predictable, at the same time the liquidator has little chance to reverse the court decision in case of a successful challenge of the financial assessment.
