Andrey Kozlov spoke to about the "Rosgosstrakh" patent dispute

Andrey Kozlov answered's questions about a high-profile case in the IP sphere, in which "Rosgosstrakh" demanded compensation for the damages caused by the use of its trademark on non-market terms.

"Rosgosstrakh" sued its former subsidiary "RGS-Zhizn", which continued to use the trademark on preferential terms after the separation of the business.

During the interview, Andrey Kozlov noted that the courts would need to make a detailed assessment of the economic and legal merits of the disputed transactions, which could be seen to have been concluded under very ambiguous circumstances.
